Some pictures of my prototype. The two PCBs are connected by a standard 40Pin ribbon cable. The two 10Pin headers are for in-system programming and to connect a terminal for debugging.
This is the prototype connected to my development machine while
debugging the firmware (using a Toshiba SD card).
The 3 green LEDs indicate that Termpower, 5V and 12V supply are
present. The yellow LED in the front panel indicates that the socket
power supply is switched on. The blue LED in the front panel indicate
SCSI bus activity.
This is the final installation on my Sun machine.
